Just a quick announcement here. I will be speaking at two online events in May.
1. Artificial intelligence in education on May 11
Media and Information Literacy for ASEAN Network invited me to discuss my experience of using generative AI in my teaching so far.
The webinar is titled “A.I. Chatbots & Media and Information Literacy: What should educators know?” It will be on May 11 from 13:00 to 15:00 (GMT+8).
Registration is open now (link).
Calling all educators! Do you want to learn how Artificial intelligence (AI) and Media and Information Literacy (MIL) can be integrated into your curriculum? Join this webinar on “A.I. Chatbots & Media and Information Literacy: What Should Educators Know?” on May 11. — U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur
2. ANNIE Toolkit walkthrough on May 18
The second online event is part of the APAC Trusted Media Summit workshop series supported by Google News Initiative.
I will walk you through some of the teaching materials we have developed in this interactive webinar.
To be honest, I haven’t had time to put many of our materials on our Toolkit website yet, but the page should be in decent shape by the time we meet virtually on May 18 from 13:00 to 15:00 (GMT+8).
My plan is to introduce the resources (20 mins), try out a few activities with participants (70 mins), and then have a 30-minute Q&A.
